Mojave, CA – On the morning of Saturday, August 22, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in the death of Juantay Jeffrey Ollie, 20, of California City, on Highway 58, according to KBAK.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 3:53 AM on Highway 58 east of Highway 14.
Authorities said Ollie was struck by a vehicle. As a result of the impact, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office formally identified him following his death.
