Olga Yesenia Islas Plascencia, 38, Killed in Crash at Willow Pass Rd, Port Chicago Hwy in Concord

Concord, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, August 12, 2026, a two-vehicle collision resulted in the death of Olga Yesenia Islas Plascencia, 38, according to KRON.

The Concord Police Department reports that the accident took place around 8:40 PM at Willow Pass Road and Port Chicago Highway.

Authorities said a Chevrolet Cruze driven by Islas Plascencia collided with a Toyota Prius in the intersection. As a result of the crash, Islas Plascencia died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota sustained injuries but survived. The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office formally identified Islas Plascencia following her death.

Concord Police Department officers are investigating the cause of the crash. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is asked to contact the Concord Police Department. The investigation remains ongoing.
