July 24, 2026, Visalia, CA: A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident while riding her scooter at a Visalia intersection on Friday afternoon.
According to Visalia Watchdog, the collision happened around 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of Mooney Boulevard and Burrel Avenue in the area of the local courthouse. Police confirmed that the rider was on a scooter in the crosswalk and was struck by a passenger vehicle that remained on scene.
The rider of the scooter sustained arm and back injuries as a result of the collision. She was rushed to the hospital by American Ambulance for treatment of her injuries.
