Calistoga, CA – On Sunday, July 19, a single-vehicle collision resulted in one fatality and left a passenger injured north of Calistoga, according to KRON.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place on State Route 128 north of Tubbs Lane.
Authorities said the driver of a Jeep was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, dying from their injuries. The passenger, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The identity of the deceased had not been released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
