Support for Victims of Monterey Car Accidents
The aftermath of a car accident can be a scary time for you both physically and financially. Many victims are left to recover from painful injuries. On top of that, you may miss time out on work, which can leave you without money to pay the bills. No matter what happens, it can help to have a legal advocate on your side during this difficult time.
An attorney may be able to help you obtain damages for some of the following aspects:
- Medical and therapy costs
- Loss of income due to missed time at work
- Pain and suffering damages
- Loss of enjoyment of life
You have limited time to file your claim after an accident. In California, the statute of limitations is two years from the time you become injured. After that, you could be barred from recovery. This is why it is crucial that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible about your options.
