June 20, 2026, Visalia, CA: A pedestrian accident that led to injuries took place at an intersection in Visalia on Saturday night.
According to Visalia Stringer, the crash happened at 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and Watson Street. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was trying to get their dog off the road when they were struck by a vehicle. The driver struck both of them and then stopped at the scene.
Paramedics took the pedestrian to the hospital with injuries by ambulance. Their condition is not yet known. Unfortunately, the dog passed away on scene. The driver was not hurt.
