Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by SUV near Frazier Mountain Park Rd, Mt Pinos Way

Kern County, CA – On the morning of Monday, June 15, 2026, a collision with an SUV resulted in the death of a 65-year-old motorcyclist in Frazier Park, according to KBAK.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:09 AM on westbound Frazier Mountain Park Road east of Mt. Pinos Way.

Authorities said the 65-year-old man was riding his motorcycle westbound on Frazier Mountain Park Road when a Chevrolet SUV driven by a 27-year-old man, also traveling westbound, struck the rear of the motorcycle. The rider was ejected and struck the SUV’s windshield, sustaining fatal injuries.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Impairment was not considered a factor for the SUV driver, though it had not been determined at the time of reporting whether impairment was a factor for the motorcyclist.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the CHP Fort Tejon area office. The investigation remains ongoing.

Personal Injury Claims

After a traffic accident, victims and their families often deal with unexpected financial burdens, such as medical bills, lost income, and, in the worst cases, burial costs. A personal injury claim allows accident victims to hold the at-fault party financially responsible for their costs of care.
