May 22, 2026, Stockton, CA: A car accident that led to injuries took place on a highway in Stockton early Friday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 5:37 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 near the area of Hammer Lane. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a collision in the fast lane.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result.
