Crash with North Elmwood Ave Apartment Injures 1 in Lindsay; Adrian Lemus Ambriz, 18, Noe Perez Nerto, 19, Arrested

Lindsay, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, May 7, 2026, a collision left one resident injured after a Chevrolet Silverado crashed into an apartment building, according to KSEE/KGPE.

The Lindsay Police Department reports that the accident took place around 1:30 AM in the 500 block of North Elmwood Avenue.

Authorities said the Silverado left the roadway and crashed into an apartment, with one resident sustaining injuries. The driver and passenger fled the scene on foot following the collision. 

Officers pursued and apprehended the passenger, identified as Adrian Lemus Ambriz, 18, of Porterville, following a foot chase. The driver, identified as Noe Perez Nerto, 19, of Lindsay, surrendered to authorities the following day.

Both were booked at the South County Detention Facility. The investigation remains ongoing.
