Arquel Rogers, 34, Killed in Multi-Vehicle Pedestrian Crash on Hatch Rd between Dallas St, Ustick Rd Modesto

Modesto, CA – On the evening of Friday, May 2, 2026, a multi-vehicle pedestrian collision resulted in Arquel Rogers, 34, losing his life, according to ABC10.

The Modesto Police Department reports that the accident took place around 9:00 PM on Hatch Road between Dallas Street and Ustick Road.

Authorities said Rogers was struck by multiple vehicles in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. Some of the drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. 

The Modesto Police Department said it is seeking an additional vehicle that may have been involved in the collision and had not been identified at the time of reporting.

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office formally identified Rogers following the crash. A GoFundMe campaign has been established by his loved ones to assist with funeral expenses. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
