Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Church, Elm St in Lodi

Lodi, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 6, 2026, a pedestrian collision left a person hospitalized near Church and Elm Streets, according to ABC10.

The Lodi Police Department reports that the accident took place around 3:34 PM.

Authorities said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries had not been confirmed at the time of reporting. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, allowing officers to gather information about the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Church Street was closed from Locust Street to Pine Street, including the 000 to 100 block of North Church Street, while officers processed the scene and collected evidence. 

No estimated time of reopening had been provided at the time of reporting. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes through the area.
