Grover Beach Motorcycle Officer Injured in West Grand Ave, South 4th St Crash

Grover Beach, CA – On the afternoon of Monday, April 6, 2026, a collision involving a motorcycle officer left the officer hospitalized, according to KSBY.

The Grover Beach Police Department reports that the accident took place around 1:10 PM at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and South 4th Street.

Authorities said the officer was transported by ambulance to a local hospital following the crash, where he was treated for injuries and subsequently released. All other parties involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Grover Beach Police Department said it does not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

The department expressed appreciation for the community members who stopped to render aid and offer assistance to the officer. The investigation remains ongoing.
