March 21, 2026, Lodi, CA: Two men were killed in a fatal train accident that happened on Saturday evening in Lodi.
According to Lodi News, the accident occurred at 7 p.m. on the Armstrong Road tracks approaching Davis Road. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling west in a pickup truck when they went over the tracks. A train was approaching and collided with the truck. This caused the pickup truck to catch on fire.
The two men inside the pickup truck were tragically pronounced dead on scene. They were identified as a 29-year-old male driver and a 37-year-old male passenger, both from Lodi. Nobody else was injured in the collision.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
