Fresno County, CA – On the morning of Thursday, March 12, 2026, a collision with a vehicle resulted in the death of a motorcyclist near Minkler, according to ABC30, with additional reporting from CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 5:59 AM at Reed and Annadale Avenues.
Authorities said the driver of a white 2018 Lexus GS350 was in the process of passing slower vehicles when the Lexus collided with the motorcycle. The motorcyclist died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Lexus was not injured. Both northbound and southbound lanes of Reed Avenue were blocked following the collision.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office was contacted to respond in its capacity as coroner. Two tow trucks were requested for the vehicles involved, with the white Lexus subsequently designated as an evidence vehicle and towed separately.
The identity of the motorcyclist had not been released at the time of reporting, pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains ongoing.
Ongoing Investigations
Victims of traffic accidents and their families should be aware that authorities may fail to note or even misinterpret critical evidence at a crash site. One of the services that a Personal Injury Attorney can provide is to pursue follow-up investigations, which can reveal additional evidence to correct any errors made by previous investigators.
Wrongful Death Claims
Losing a loved one in a traffic accident is devastating, and the pain can be made worse by the financial strain that often follows. Medical bills, funeral costs, and the loss of income to support dependents of the deceased can leave families struggling. Filing a Wrongful Death claim against those responsible can provide compensation to help with these expenses.
