San Luis Obispo, CA – Brooklyn Gutierrez, 18, of San Luis Obispo has been identified as the pedestrian who lost her life on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, after an animal control truck struck her, according to The San Luis Obispo Tribune.
