February 11, 2026, Modesto, CA: Injuries stemmed from an accident involving a big rig and two passenger vehicles in Modesto on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident, according to California Highway Patrol, took place at 1:43 p.m. in the southbound lanes of SR-99 around the area of Taylor Road. Police confirmed that a big rig and two sedans collided in the intersection due to reasons that remain under police investigation.
Paramedics and several other responders were dispatched to the scene. Several parties were reportedly injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
