December 6, 2025, Clovis, CA: Major injuries were reported in an e-scooter accident that took place on Saturday afternoon in Clovis.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Ana Avenue and Clovis Avenue. Police confirmed that a rider was crossing Clovis on an e-scooter while a sedan going in the opposite direction stopped for him. At that time, a driver in a pickup truck didn’t slow down in time and rear-ended the sedan, causing them to strike the scooter rider.
The 20-year-old e-scooter rider sustained major injuries in the accident. They were transported to the hospital for treatment, though their current condition is not yet known.
