Los Banos, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, November 30, 2025, a two-vehicle crash left one motorist dead and four others injured, according to KSEE.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 3:30 PM on State Route 165, south of Cotton Gin Road.
Investigations indicate that a 2021 Toyota Camry traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lanes, for unknown reasons, and collided head-on with a Toyota Sienna before crashing into a guardrail. The Camry’s driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The four occupants of the Sienna sustained injuries ranging from minor to major. Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Merced-area CHP office.
Wrongful Death Claims
Losing a loved one in a traffic accident is devastating, and the pain can be made worse by the financial strain that often follows. Medical bills, funeral costs, and the loss of income to support dependents of the deceased can leave families struggling. Filing a Wrongful Death claim against those responsible can provide compensation to help with these expenses.
Ongoing Investigations
Victims of traffic accidents and their families should be aware that authorities may fail to note or even misinterpret critical evidence at a crash site. One of the services that a Personal Injury Attorney can provide is to pursue follow-up investigations, which can reveal additional evidence to correct any errors made by previous investigators.
