Modesto, CA – In the early hours of Friday, November 21, 2025, a vehicle-pedestrian collision left one person who lost their life, according to FOX40.

The Modesto Police Department reports that the accident took place around 12:25 AM on Paradise Road near Leon Avenue.

Authorities said a sedan traveling eastbound struck the pedestrian, and despite aid from responding officers and medical personnel, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed on site and has been cooperating with investigators, who noted that neither alcohol nor drugs appears to be a factor for the motorist at this stage. 

Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim, and the investigation remains active as police continue gathering witness accounts and reviewing the circumstances leading up to the fatal impact.
