Arden-Arcade, CA – On the evening of Friday, November 1, 2025, a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians left one person dead and another with serious injuries, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:20 PM near the intersection of Hurley Way and Fulton Avenue in Arden-Arcade.

Authorities said both pedestrians were adults. A 37-year-old man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Emergency responders from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District assisted at the scene.

CHP said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will confirm the identity of the man who was killed once relatives have been notified.

Officials continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision to determine how the crash occurred.
