October 8, 2025, Lompoc, CA: Two people sustained injuries in a highway accident in Lompoc on Tuesday afternoon.
According to KSBY, the accident happened at 5:43 p.m. on Highway 1 near the area of Santa Lucia Canyon Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of traffic.
Paramedics and numerous other emergency responders were called to the scene. One person sustained major injuries and another was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Southbound lanes of traffic were completely blocked for several hours. Police diverted traffic for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
