July 31, 2025, Stockton, CA: A motorcycle collision that led to major injuries took place on a highway in Stockton on Thursday afternoon.
According to information provided by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 3:31 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 near the area of SR-12. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist was riding in the area when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll several times. The motorcycle then came to a rest on the shoulder of the highway.
The rider and passenger on the motorcycle sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They were rushed to the hospital but their current conditions are not known.
