July 9, 2025, Oakland, CA: One person tragically lost their life in a fatal motorcycle collision at an intersection in Oakland on Wednesday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by KRON, happened at 9 a.m. at the intersection of East 10thStreet and 5th Avenue. Police confirmed that a vehicle was headed eastbound on 10th Street when they entered the intersection, colliding with a southbound motorcycle coming from 5th Street.
The motorcyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics. However, they were tragically pronounced deceased while there. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not hurt and remained on scene.
