June 26, 2025, San Joaquin, CA: On Thursday night, a woman lost her life in a fatal motorcycle crash at an intersection in San Joaquin.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, took place at 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Colorado Road and Sumner Avenue. Police confirmed that a man was traveling on a motorcycle in the area with a female passenger on the back. He suddenly crashed into the back of a farm tractor that was pulling a tank on a trailer behind it.
Police confirmed that the female passenger was ejected from the motorcycle. She was badly injured and tragically passed away at the scene. The male motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The tractor operator was allegedly not injured.
No further details have been released. California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the circumstances leading to the collision.
