June 17, 2025, Mendota, CA: A pedestrian accident involving a motorcyclist took place in Mendota and led to serious injuries on Tuesday.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the collision happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Derrick Avenue and Naples Street. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was walking in the area when they were struck by a motorcycle due to reasons that are currently being investigated.
The unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured as a result of the accident. They were airlifted by medical helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. It is not known if the motorcyclist was injured.
At this time, Mendota officials continue their investigation into the collision.
