Ripon, CA – On the night of Thursday, March 6, 2025, a high-speed multi-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 99 near the Jack Tone Road off-ramp left one woman dead and two men injured, according to KCRA.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident occurred around 10:26 PM when a 35-year-old Manteca man, driving a pickup truck, was traveling at high speeds on Highway 99. Authorities say the driver, who was suspected of being intoxicated, collided with a big rig and an SUV driven by a 63-year-old Stockton woman.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The pickup truck driver and the big rig driver, whose conditions were not immediately available, sustained injuries in the crash.
All three vehicles had only one occupant, and investigators believe alcohol played a role in the collision. The crash led to significant traffic disruptions as crews worked to clear the wreckage and authorities conducted their investigation.
CHP continues to examine the circumstances of the crash and has not yet released the identities of those involved.
