February 25, 2025, Sanger, CA: One teen was killed and another was critically injured in a pedestrian accident in Sanger on Tuesday.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Almond Avenue and Bethel Avenue. Police confirmed that a male and female teen were walking across the street at the intersection when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle that was traveling north on Bethel. The driver of the involved vehicle stopped and remained on scene.
The male and female pedestrian, both identified as 17-year-olds, were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims was listed in critical condition while the other was tragically pronounced dead while there.
Sanger Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
