Sacramento County, CA – On the morning of Thursday, February 13, 2025, a crash involving a big rig and a sedan resulted in one fatality on southbound Interstate 5 near the Twin Cities Road offramp, according to CBS13.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the crash occurred just before 5 AM, with the big rig jackknifing and partially blocking traffic.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the sedan was killed in the collision, while the big rig driver was uninjured. Emergency crews responded, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
