January 31, 2025, Visalia, CA: A big rig accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Visalia on Friday morning.

The accident, according to information provided by the Tulare County Fire Department’s Facebook page, the accident happened in the morning at the intersection of Avenue 328 and Road 100 in Visalia. Police confirmed that a big rig was traveling in the area when it was involved in a crash with two SUVs due to reasons that remain under investigation. The accident led to extensive damages and left debris all over the roadway.

One person was pinned in their vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency responders. The victim was rushed to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Two others sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Several parties worked to clear the scene so traffic could continue as normal.
