January 20, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: On Monday afternoon, a bicycle collision took place at a Bakersfield intersection that injured a teen.
According to information provided by Bakersfield Now, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of East Truxtun Avenue and Williams Street. Police confirmed that a driver was in a gray Toyota sedan traveling west on Truxtun while a bicyclist was traveling east. At that time, the sedan struck the bicyclist.
When emergency responders arrived on scene, they found the teen with severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
