January 19, 2025, Tulare, CA: A woman was tragically killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place at a Tulare intersection on Sunday.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Cross Avenue and Mooney Boulevard. Police confirmed that a woman was walking back from the store to her home when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle on Mooney. The driver initially fled the scene but then returned to cooperate with police. Police also confirmed that several other drivers struck the woman but never stopped at the scene.
The woman, identified as a 32-year-old from Tulare, was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of her injuries.
Police arrested the driver who returned to the scene, identified as a 26-year-old man from Visalia. He was arrested on charges of suspected felony hit-and-run.
