January 16, 2025, Gustine, CA: Two big rigs were involved in a collision on a Gustine interstate that led to injuries on Thursday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by KCRA, occurred around 4:48 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the on-ramp for Sullivan Road. One big rig was parked on the right shoulder of the interstate with its 41-year-old driver inside the sleeper berth. A second big rig was traveling in the area when their truck entered the shoulder, colliding with the first big rig.
Both drivers were injured as a result of the collision. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
