December 17, 2024, Delhi, CA: An eight-month-old child tragically lost their life in a fatal collision that took place in Delhi on Tuesday evening.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Harding Road just north of Vincent Road. Police confirmed that a gray Honda Civic was traveling south on Vincent road while a white Toyota Highlander was headed north on Vincent. The Honda Civic traveled onto the shoulder before it veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the Toyota. The Honda then continued onward, where it crashed into a wrought iron fence while the Toyota came to a rest on the road.
The driver and passenger in the Honda suffered major injuries and were rushed to local hospitals. Their eight-month-old passenger was rushed to the hospital but was tragically pronounced deceased while there. Police also confirmed that the driver of the Toyota was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
