November 16, 2024, Bakersfield, CA: Two vehicles were involved in a fatal accident in Bakersfield that took the life of a child on Saturday night.
According to information provided by KGET, the accident happened at 8:39 p.m. at the intersection of Brimhall Road and Jenkins Road. Police confirmed that a red Honda and a red Chevrolet were traveling in the area when they were suddenly involved in a collision with one another at the intersection.
A passenger inside the Chevrolet, identified as a 2-year-old child, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to their injuries. Nobody else was allegedly injured in the accident.
