Determining Liability Following a Gaviota Car Accident
Many people who have been hurt in Gaviota car accidents will be left with life-altering injuries and a long road to recovery. Because of this, injured victims may have to demand financial recovery from a party or parties who caused them harm. Determining liability in an accident is not always easy and can require a team of experts, including accident reconstruction teams and more.
There are many reasons why serious car accidents occur on our roads and lead to extensive harm, including the following:
- Distracted driving
- Drunk driving
- Speeding
- Fatigued driving
- Otherwise reckless actions
With the help of an attorney, you can hold one or more parties liable for their actions as you work toward financial recovery. It is important to keep deadlines in mind, however. You have two years from the time you are injured to file a personal injury claim, according to California’s statute of limitations.
