September 16, 2024, Visalia, CA: On Monday afternoon, a big rig accident with injuries took place on a highway in Visalia.
According to information provided by Visalia Stringer, the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 198 around the area of Highway 99. A big rig was traveling on the highway in the area when it was involved in a collision with an SUV due to reasons that remain under investigation.
The driver of the SUV, who has not yet been formally identified, was injured in the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Nobody else was hurt due to the collision.
