September 14, 2024, Cutler, CA: A fatal pedestrian accident involving a suspected DUI driver took place in Cutler on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Your Central Valley reported that the accident happened at 10:15 p.m. on First Drive just west of Cutler Drive. A woman was traveling west on First Drive in her black Dodge Caravan when she struck a pedestrian who was walking across the street in the area.
The pedestrian, identified as a 49-year-old man, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to his injuries. The driver of the Dodge was not injured.
Police say that the driver was suspected to be driving either under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision.
