August 27, 2024, Madera, CA: Multiple vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in a rear-end accident that led to injuries in Madera on Tuesday morning.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened in the early morning hours in the northbound lanes of Highway 41 around the area of the Avenue 12 stop light. A semi-truck was traveling in the northbound lanes when the driver did not stop in time, slamming into the back of a white Honda sedan. This set off a chain-reaction collision involving a total of six vehicles.
Several parties were injured as a result of the accident. Their injuries ranged from minor to moderate in nature. The driver of the white Honda sustained a concussion and possibly other injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, the road was blocked in the area for several hours. Traffic returned to normal after some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
