Major highways and roadways are present throughout Shafter that stretch for miles, such as California 43 and Lerdo Highway. With thousands of drivers traveling these major roads every day, we expect that they will be aware of what is happening around them and share the roads safely with other drivers. One wrong move such as traveling over the speed limit or driving distracted could risk the lives of everybody in the area, especially when multiple vehicles are involved.
Though many motor vehicle accidents that occur are minor fender-benders, some are incredibly severe and catastrophic. In some of the worst cases, lives are lost as a result of these accidents. Families never expect that an unexpected accident will take the life of a loved one but, when it does happen, they should be aware that they have legal options moving forward.
