October 7, 2026, Monterey, CA: A head-on collision with injuries took place on a major roadway in Monterey on Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 12:24 p.m. at the intersection of SR-183 and Market Circle. Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved and collided head-on into one another. One vehicle turned in front of the other at the intersection. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were immediately hospitalized as a result.
