Hercules, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, September 5, 2026, a vehicle struck a pedestrian near San Pablo Avenue and John Muir Parkway, according to KRON.
The Hercules Police Department reports that the accident took place around 12:40 PM.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid westbound John Muir Parkway at San Pablo Avenue following the collision. Northbound San Pablo Avenue, also State Highway 4, was closed at the intersection, along with lanes connecting westbound Interstate 80 to San Pablo Avenue. The roads reopened after approximately one hour.
The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries had not been released at the time of reporting.
