September 29, 2026, Tulare, CA: A pedestrian accident with injuries took place in front of a high school in Tulare on Tuesday morning.
According to Visalia Stringer, the accident happened at 8 a.m. on Maple Avenue in front of Tulare Western High School. Police confirmed that a student was walking in the area when they were struck by a vehicle due to reasons that are still being investigated. They were in the crosswalk at the time.
Paramedics and several other responders were called to the scene to help. The student was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
