Fresno, CA – On the evening of Sunday, September 13, 2026, a pedestrian hit-and-run resulted in the death of a man in his 80s, according to ABC30.
The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place at the intersection of McKinley and Normal Avenues, a residential intersection in Central Fresno.
Authorities said officers responded to the scene and found the man dead. The driver fled the scene. Investigators are speaking with witnesses and searching for surveillance footage to help identify and locate the suspect.
The area was expected to remain closed for several hours, and those traveling nearby were asked to find an alternate route. The man’s identity had not been released at the time of reporting.
