Kings County, CA – On the morning of Friday, September 11, 2026, a head-on collision left the driver of a Ford pickup with major injuries and the driver of a Toyota Tacoma with minor injuries, according to KSEE/KGPE.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:45 AM in the area of Grangeville Boulevard west of 14th Avenue in Hanford area of King’s County.
Authorities said a man was driving a 2019 Toyota Tacoma westbound on Grangeville Boulevard while a 2002 Ford pickup traveled eastbound in the opposite direction. The Ford driver allowed his vehicle to enter the westbound lane, where it struck the Tacoma head-on. The Ford driver sustained major injuries, while the Tacoma driver sustained minor injuries.
The identities of both drivers had not been officially released at the time of reporting.
