According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 7:52 a.m. at the intersection of Castroville Boulevard and Elkhorn Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with one another at the intersection due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics and several other emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were rushed to the hospital with major injuries. Their current conditions are not known at this time.
