August 13, 2026, Visalia, CA: A pedestrian accident that led to injuries took place on a roadway in Visalia on Thursday night.
Visalia Watchdog confirmed that a pedestrian was walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of Mooney Boulevard near Tulare Avenue at 9:40 p.m. It is not known if the driver immediately stopped following the accident.
The pedestrian, identified only as an adult female, was seriously injured in the accident. She was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment of her major injuries.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
