August 5, 2026, Stockton, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at a Stockton intersection on Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 1:06 p.m. at the intersection of Mello Road and Wagner Avenue. Police confirmed that a white Acura and a black Tesla collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known.
The driver of the Tesla was trapped in their vehicle following the collision. They were extricated but seemed confused and had injuries. They were rushed to the hospital. It is not known if any other parties were injured.
