August 2, 2026, Stockton, CA: A big rig and a motorcycle were involved in a fatal collision at a Stockton intersection on Sunday afternoon.
According to KCRA, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Harbor Street and South Los Angeles Avenue. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist and a big rig collided with each other in the area, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, identified as a 62-year-old man, was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. He was tragically pronounced dead while there.
The driver of the big rig was not injured. They remained on scene and cooperated with police.
The roadway was closed for several hours as police investigated and cleared the scene.
