July 1, 2026, Santa Maria, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Santa Maria on Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2 p.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Palmer Road. Police confirmed that a black Chevrolet Malibu and a black Toyota Camry collided with each other at the intersection due to reasons that have not yet been confirmed.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more parties were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.
