Fresno, CA – On the evening of Tuesday, July 28, 2026, a three-vehicle collision resulting from a driver running a red light left two people hospitalized, according to ABC30.
The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place at the intersection of Maple and Butler Avenues.
Authorities said two vehicles were traveling along Butler Avenue when a third vehicle traveling southbound on Maple Avenue ran a red light and struck the other vehicles. The driver of the third vehicle had to be extricated from the wreckage. Two people were transported to a hospital and were expected to recover.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
